Background static

A while back, I got back into frisbee, after 16 years of NOT playing. In finding the local pickup game that got me back into the sport, I received significant help through the 'net and particularly usenet news group rec.sport.disc (try this link: rec.sport.disc) -- my sincere thanks to those who provided information and encouragement (especially, thanks, Mara and the folks in Montclair, like Pete, Holly, Jim, John, John and Jay).

As part of my karmic debt repayment, I have attempted to organize some information on NJ frisbee (Ultimate) activity.  (This is said in full recognition of the tension, if not complete incompatibility, between the concept of organization and the culture of Ultimate.)  .
